We teach young people how to have H.E.A.R.T.
Learning Goals:
By teaching our values through each session, our students are ready to thrive in their learning goals.
Individual sessions focus on learning goals. Goals are created by the parent/guardian before the commencement of the mentoring and give the direction the mentor will take.
Our learning goals:
- increases students' motivation and achievement levels
- can be based on social and emotional learning
- are specific and require a moderate amount of challenge
- Allow all parties to measure progress
Our learning goals are reported through progress notes:
Progress Notes are written after each session by the mentor and respond to the session’s content in relation to the student’s learning goals. They are available to share with parents, guardians, school and well-being teams. Helping parents build a holistic approach to supporting their child.
