What are your kids doing on the following dates?
- Autumn holidays Apr 7-23
- Winter holidays Jun 24- Jul 9

Entertain, engage and excite young people with our new holiday programs.
It's time to invite your local library, community groups and schools to run one of our Dog Assisted Learning programs during the school holidays.
Our long-awaited holiday programs are back! Take a look at the activities our Canine Comprehension tutors and dogs have lined up for your kids.
Activities
Dog agility
Each participant is taught how to create and set up an agility course for the therapy dog. The students are then taught how to work in a team with a dog to complete the course.
Learning outcomes: planning, communication, teamwork and persistence.
Time allocation: 2 hours.
We love books
Building confidence and reducing anxiety for reluctant readers. The therapy dog and tutor supports interested and reluctant readers by creating a comfortable space, short bursts of reading, providing incentives, allowing students to select their books, discussing the books being read and making reading a social experience.
Learning outcomes: literacy confidence, peer connection, appreciation of stories.
Time allocation: 2 hours.
Just Add Dog
Mediation session where each student is encouraged to retreat into a meditative state through mindfulness activities that use the calm therapy dog.
Learning outcomes: mindfulness practice, focus and resilience.
Time allocation: 2 hours.
Dog Art
A creative session where students encourage each other to design artwork using the therapy dog as a muse. Students will have time to research, produce and discuss their contributions.
Learning outcomes: community & peer connection, confidence building.
Time allocation: 2 hours.
We are looking for libraries, community groups and schools to host these very successful programs. Get in contact with us today to discuss further or book in.
