Meet Sherice, a dedicated educator with over 20 years of teaching experience in lower and upper primary settings. Her passion for evidence-based approaches to education sets her apart as a leader in the field.
With teaching experiences across South Africa, the United Kingdom, and Australia, Sherice brings a diverse and well-rounded perspective to her practice. She has held various leadership positions in mainstream schools, specialising in accommodating students with additional needs. As a registered teacher with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT), Sherice's commitment to professional excellence is evident.
Sherice's journey in education has been deeply influenced by her advocacy for neurodiverse children in mainstream settings, fueled by her role as an educator and her personal experience as a parent of a child on the spectrum. Her role as a lead teacher allowed her to coach and support educators while spearheading the development of differentiated curricula, ensuring that the needs of all students were met in an inclusive environment.
Throughout her career, Sherice has pursued continuous professional development. Her impressive repertoire includes training in Animal-Assisted Education, Collaborative and Proactive Solutions based on Dr. Ross Greene's work, and social skills and communication training based on Michelle Garcia Winner's Social Thinking approach.

Jonesy
Meet Jonesy, the delightful Golden Retriever with a thirst for learning and a heart full of joy. Named after the legendary Indiana Jones or the strong Nathan Jones (depending on who you ask in the family), he also answers to the endearing nicknames Jojo, Jo, or Bobo, lovingly given by his 9-year-old friend.
Jonesy's love for life is evident in his favourite activities: chasing after frisbees, devouring peanut butter treats, and embarking on fun car rides. But what truly sets him apart is his unwavering love for people and the attention he adores receiving, especially when someone gives his chest a gentle rub.
With a passion for learning, Jonesy eagerly embraces new tricks and commands. While still mastering his repertoire, he has already triumphed in 'shake' and 'spin,' proudly believing he's a clever pup!
Jonesy's enthusiasm for education and affectionate nature make him an excellent addition to any learning environment. His presence brings comfort, joy, and a sense of camaraderie to all those fortunate enough to interact with him. As he continues to grow and learn, he becomes an invaluable asset to the Canine Comprehension team, spreading happiness and positive energy wherever he goes.
