With close to 20 years of experience in the Child Protection field, Daniel's expertise and dedication shine through in every interaction. He holds a Diploma of Youth Work from Chisolm TAFE at Dandenong, which has equipped him with a solid foundation for his career.

What sets Daniel apart is his unique approach to youth work—bringing his dog, Bubbles, along as a companion for the past four years. The introduction of Bubbles has been nothing short of amazing, as she has brought a remarkable change to all of Daniel's clients. Her presence has had a profound impact, fostering honesty and genuine love among the young people she interacts with.

Joining Canine Comprehension in 2021 has opened up a wonderful opportunity for Daniel to help more young people struggling to engage with their school work. Daniel loves working with Canine Comprehension and views his workdays as incredibly rewarding, and he finds immense joy in witnessing students' excitement when they see him and Bubbles arriving at the schools.

Daniel's relaxed and compassionate approach creates a warm and welcoming environment for the students he works with. His genuine care for young people and their education is evident in every interaction. Making a positive difference in their lives brings him a sense of fulfilment that is truly rewarding.

Bubbles

Meet Bubbles, the therapy dog who adores spending time with people, especially young students.

Bubbles, a kelpie cross, had a difficult start in life, having been rescued from a challenging situation by a caring family towards the end of 2018. During her first four years, Bubbles endured mistreatment and had never experienced the simple joys of going for a walk or feeling safe without fearing harm. But with boundless love and dedicated time spent together, Daniel transformed her life, helping Bubbles heal from her past traumas.

Now, Bubbles has blossomed into a confident and engaging dog, radiating complete trust in people. Her remarkable journey has led her to discover a newfound passion—spreading joy and comfort to students as a therapy dog with Canine Comprehension.

Bubbles' journey from hardship to happiness has enriched her life and touched the hearts of those she encounters. With her unwavering love for people, she continues to make a positive impact, leaving a trail of joy and smiles wherever she goes.
